  • All-positional welding wire
  • High silicon levels improve arc characteristics and weld pool fluidity, which provides a flatter weld bead profile
  • Low carbon increases resistance to corrosion and maintains mechanical properties
  • 308 is mostly used for welding 304 stainless steel & general purpose applications where corrosion conditions are moderate. (Use 316 to improve corrosion resistance)
  • Use with Argon based shielding gas
  • Available in 0.8mm, 0.9mm, 1.0mm and 1.2mm
  • AWS: ER308LSi
